Vermont Studio Center

Finishing up my first week at Vermont Studio Center, writing to remember this magical, grounding space.

Throughout the residency I will be making the final touches on the paintings that will be featured in my first solo show in NYC at Allied Productions. And maybe painting like crazy in the huge studio VSC generously provided for me for which I am so grateful, especially after being crammed up in my little corner in the city. It is already turning out to be a huge success based on the work I produces in the past few days.

I am also finally returning to active writing of That Same Wind, some pages of which will be shown at Allied Productions alongside paintings this May.

My brain is buzzing from meeting so many writers and artists whose work I am so intrigued by. I got to hear Douglas Kearney read, I received an unexpected but totally amazing studio visit from Fred H.C. Liang, I got to stare into the mountains blissfully…
